What made you listen to Heavy Metal in the first place?
My brother was listening to bands when his friends were playing tabletennis in our home's basement. I was playing there as well, and couldn’t help hearing the music. Pantera, Slayer, Deicide...
Who personifies Metal the most for you – and why?
Kerry King. He is a real metal guy, very real, and doesn’t try to be anything. He is just as he is. He is the same on stage and off stage. He is a really, really friendly dude, very polite, but very straight in ways of saying out loud his opinion. He’s not afraid to disagree. He is real!
And he plays in Slayer!
What’s the best Metal album ever in your opinion?
Hard to say. So many... Lets say SEASONS IN THE ABYSS - Slayer!
Which is the most important Metal band of all time for you?
Slayer, Megadeth, Pantera!!! I just can’t name only one, sorry...
What does Heavy Metal mean to you in general: Lifestyle or music?
Music! But I like the lifestyle aspect of it as well. Being true to yourself, and not trying to be anything else. Sincerity!
