Hard but catchy - that's what everybody expects a new Pain-album to be. Peter Tägtgren explains, what the new record CYNIC PARADISE will be all about:
01. I’m Going In
On this song it´s more like going back to the REBIRTH feeling and trying to get it more industrial – like the old days. The lyrics are inspired by women going blah blah blah all the time. Usually I bitch about men, but this time around it`s the women!
02. Monkey Business
The lyrical concept is about government people taking planes for private vacation and such, while us tax payers are paying for it. And then they get caught doing it and they start crying in court and promise to pay everything back. Basically it´s about government people abusing their status and authority in their countries. It happens everywhere.
03. Follow Me
A really catchy tune – for my taste. The lyrics are about my bad luck always following me around. When Anette sang on it, it opened it up a lot musicwise, her voice just fits the song perfectly.
