Zwei weitere Cover-EPs von Stone Sour sind noch geplant. Scheinbar finden bereits Arbeiten zu den Nachfolgern zur ersten EP MEANWHILE IN BURBANK… namens STRAIGHT OUTTA BURBANK statt. Aus dem Studio veröffentlichte Gitarrist Josh Rand jetzt ein Foto zusammen mit Halestorm-Sängerin Lzzy Hale per Facebook.
STRAIGHT OUTTA BURBANK ist der Titel einer der zwei Cover-EPs. Es liegt also nahe, dass für diese EP eine Zusammenarbeit mit der Frontfrau Lzzy Hale statt findet.
Die Burbank-Chroniken
Wie wir berichteten, war Stone Sours aktuelle Cover-EP MEANWHILE IN BURBANK… ursprünglich als Album angekündigt. Dann enthüllte Stone Sour- und Slipknot-Sänger Corey Taylor, dass die Band zwei weitere Cover-EPs plane.

Unter den Titeln STRAIGHT OUTTA BURBANK und NO SLEEP ‘TIL BURBANK sollen ebenfalls jeweils fünf Songs von Bands wie u.a. Bad Brains, Mötley Crüe, Violent Femmes und Rage Against The Machine neu interpretiert werden.
